A recent report advertised a new kind of device that enables users to track their own vehicles or fleet managers to track vehicles using a device like mobile has been launched. The system is called NeatLocator and has been launched by a company called NeatTrack. The system can alert you if your battery has gone dead or your vehicle is being towed away (if parked illegally). The device which can be linked to your starter circuit can also immobilise the vehicle if a thief try’s to take it.
This small device allows you to view the vehicle tracking from your mobile, a computer or internet. It currently works on a pay as you method where you are able to purchase somewhere in the region of four thousand tracks. The device to purchase will cost you about two hundred and fifty pounds.
It is certainly a different way of using vehicle tracking systems but it seems more and more of these kinds of devices are being launched and are attractive to a broad range of the market.
