In the business world today, it is crucial for all businesses to try and maintain the stability of the company and continue to grow without having to step too far outside it to get there.

Vehicle Tracking is one way to assist businesses with fleets of vehicles in their attempt to stay at the top or indeed stay at all.
Not only are the vehicles set up with the technology to report back to the office but the office is set up with hardware to view all the information that can be provided. Using the internet to access most applications, fleet managers can view their entire fleet or single vehicle in real time.

Initial set up costs can seem expensive, however monthly costs are considerably lower and it’s a lifelong investment which will continually see the profit margin rise as cost are cut in many ways.

For employees this could mean the possibility of reduced working hours as the operation is run efficiently and can cut out mistakes and unnecessary journeys. Stats show employees work better and more productively as they are being rewarded for this and of course have the knowledge they are visible to the manager

after i read this article i realised that it isn’t as bad as i thought being tracked by my company. i was really annoyed at first when i heard they were going to track me so i looked up on the web about my rights and everything. i suppose reading this it might help me shorten my day and if they are going to reward for better driving and so on which i think they should then i’m not to bothered. oh and also my company lets you only show them your whereabouts in work hours so when i take the car home at night they dont know my every move

The set up costs are far outweighed by the benefits a tracking system brings. I have never looked back since having my tracking system installed into the few vehicles i run.

i have just had a few quotations for tracking my fleet of ten and in fact the cost of tracking is far weighed out by the costs that are then saved from having it, of course i am yet to see this for myself but i am sure vehicle tracking is the way for my business to go. Does anyone have any helpful tips?
