A recent report released explained how three car dealerships based in the Moncton area of North America are introducing in car internet solutions to appeal to the young savvy drivers of today.
Alongside this, one of the dealerships, Honda, is reported to be offering a system to customers that gives them the ability to track cars remotely.
The technology is said to come from Red Ball who currently use their iBurst technology in the buses of Moncton’s city and now want to spread out across corporate clients in the auto sector.
It is reported that Honda plan to launch this project as Guardian Angel, which will give parents the opportunity to keep watch over their youngsters driving. When a vehicle is being purchased from the dealership they will be able to demonstrate using the computer how a vehicle can be tracked and details of speed watched. For parents of high spec vehicles this can offer piece of mind at all times, not just the more worrying time, when your child doesn’t show up on time!
Both internet and tracking are solutions offered by iBurst which is a product of Red Ball.
