Is there no stopping the increasing use of GPS? In a recent report, the new vehicles to be equipped with a tracking system are said to be dinghies.
With the RS Feva Nationals just taken place, there was a new feature which was much talked about. GPS tracking was installed on all boats so the races progress could be followed from the armchair, or more aptly from the clubhouse at Weymouth.
Maybe this will continue to filtrate all upcoming events and sports. Tracking systems could change the way sport is judged and watched around the world. Areas where marathons are run but not visible to the eye could now be.
Tracking Systems are becoming so widely used, accepted and available now that the possibilities are endless with them.
