Navman Wireless has recently announced the launch of a product that combines tracking, navigation and messaging and has called it M-Nav 750.
The system is aimed at business users and is said to have one on the fastest routing engines in the world. The mass of functions it offers is said to optimise fleet efficiency.
It appears as yet that this is the only unit that incorporates tracking, messaging and navigation and has been launched on the back of widespread industry consultation.
One of the functionality options it offers is called accept and go. This gives the driver a route from the desktop to the customer’s location. When the driver selects accept to a message from head office the device will then launch an on screen map and instructions of the drivers next job, there is no need to input postcode details or any further information.
Using this product will boost the operating efficiency of any company and therefore improve on bottom line.
Navman display ongoing commitment to research and development within this field which see’s the products getting better and better.
Some of the features of the 750 include, speed reports, driver ID and European languages. The system also compels drivers to carry out vehicle checks before they start their day’s work which comply with their company’s Health and Safety checks.
