A portable tracking system is a small device that can be easily carried and placed in an asset or vehicle. Portable tracking systems operate the same way as a vehicle tracking systems with the exception that they have an on board rechargeable battery. The batteries can last up to as long as 5 weeks and will provide alerts when the battery levels are becoming low.

As with vehicle tracking users/companies access an internet based application to monitor the unit’s location in real time and also generate reports.

Portable tracking systems carry many of the benefits of a vehicle tracking system with the added versatility of being portable allowing you to track an individual, vehicle, pallet or indeed any high valued item.
