There are many businesses throughout the UK that are keen to purchase a tracking system but do not proceed through concerns that they have. Many of these concerns may be shared by other companies and they can often be common misconceptions.

A common objection is that “my business cannot afford it”. Fleet tracking is a solution that is designed to save companies money and provide a worthwhile return on investment. The savings that can be made by installing the right tracking system mean the system can pay for itself many times over. In addition, the majority of tracking suppliers offer their customers flexible payment options. Businesses that do not have the available to cash to purchase a tracking system upfront can opt for a business lease or monthly subscription. This breaks the cost of a fleet tracking solution into much smaller monthly payments which also means that a quicker return on investment can be achieved.

Another common concern is that the process of installing a tracking system will cause too much disruption. The majority of tracking suppliers are able to be very flexible in terms of installations. Many are able to provide installations during unsociable hours and weekends. This is ideal for haulage companies whose vehicles are continually on the go.
