Although tracking systems having penetrated the market and already reached approximately 10% of the commercial sector, companies appear hesitant to take on a tracking system due to a few misconceptions.
It seems that companies are still loathe to part with their money which is understandable in this current climate and of course all companies should keep a tight leash on spending regardless, but investing in tracking really does show a return on your investment.
Tracking systems seem to be known for watching members of staff =throughout their daily work, however this is a tool that offers so much more and is there to increase operational efficiency and reduce fuel cost and maintenance cost to the company.
Some businesses are fearful of staff reactions to having a tracker fitted but in certain surveys carried out, members of staff that have had sufficient training on the systems and can see the benefits are more than happy to embrace this change. It can be worked in their favour for good performance figures etc. Tracking systems can also reduce the amount of paperwork an employee has to do.
By recouping costs in a short period of time, tracking doesn’t have to be something for cash rich companies only. There are also options now to pay as you go and short term contracts to ease companies in.
