In a recent article written, Currie European have spoken out and said that due to having a fleet management system installed by one of the leading telematics companies, Masternaut, they have e gone on to win new and lucrative deals.
Their trucks and trailers have been fitted with the tracking devices and are able to be monitored online. The system has allowed Currie European customers to receive regular information about their loads and has reduced operations costs for the business.
By having such a system fitted, Currie European have been able to reduce their fleet, this is down to making their existing vehicles more efficient and therefore simply not needing as many trucks and trailers on the road. This surely is one huge step towards being a greener fleet also as removing one vehicle on the road which is having an impact on the environment is a good thing.
Saying that Masternaut Three X have a greenfleet addition to their package which offers companies the means to monitor , measure and manage their fleets carbon emissions and the all important fuel consumption and usage. Not only that they can monitor their driver’s behaviour and introduce training where needed to help their drivers run their vehicles more efficiently.
