Yet another success storey for Masternaut has recently hid the headlines. MITIE Group plc are said to have two accolades for in the Fleet Van Awards 2009 following the implementation of Masternaut Three X into their vehicles.

Together the companies are said to have produced a bespoke and unique system which can give MITIE the visibility of around 13,000 vehicles.

Masternaut has played a major part in assisting the company deliver its business services and overall gain the accolades it has.
MITIE have said that Masternaut’s system is an absolute invaluable tool to them and first and foremost has cut down highly on admin costs to the business. It seems by this alone they have seen their return on investment in under two years.

Having the tracking systems enables proactive decision making and strategic decision making by being able to locate drivers nearest to the problematic area and get them on site in minimal time. The system sends reminders for servicing and can keep to manufacturer warranty requirements.

These systems deliver accurate reports and among those there can be idling, speeding, fuel consumption, destinations travelled to, regular stops, unauthorised breaks and emissions.

The system can be progressed further and it looks as though MITIE are interested in doing this. Whatever it takes to keep as tight controls as possible on the business, especially fuel usage as this is a company’s main spend.
