In a recent report, Total Foodservice Solutions are said to have installed Masternaut systems into their entire fleet of vehicles which include sales representatives and chilled and frozen food vehicles.
The system has been installed to optimise deliveries and is said to have already saved ten percent in fuel per annum and has been a great tool in assisting drivers to take care on the roads and reduce speeding which in turn does help to reduce the fuel and helps the company stay in line with Duty of Care.
Masternauts systems are web based and can be viewed by fleet managers. By having this real time information to hand it means that the fleet can make changes to vehicle direction and drops within a second. Knowledge of congested areas is available so alternative routes can be taken when needed.
Whilst having this vehicle tracking system installed, an employee of Total Foodservice has ‘Drivers for Life’ safe driving competition which goes to show one of the great benefits to tracking is working.
Totalservice make over fifteen hundred deliveries a week and the system has increased there on time deliveries. Customers do now never have to chase deliveries as the company are always one step ahead.
