In a recent article written on one of the leaders in the telematics industry ‘ Masternaut Three X’, an interesting story was revealed that they have been helping the Healey Endurance Car Team to monitor it’s cars performance in their plight to beat the world record of the 138mph average for one thousand kilometres that the car is driven in twenty four hours.
The world record was originally set at the Bonneville Salt Flats in the mid 1950’s.
Masternaut fitted the car with one of their mobile collection units therefore enabling the team to track and monitor the cars progress in practice sessions. By having the tracker installed, real time information on the car is sent back to Masternaut’s web based software where the team can then view all details necessary and make changes where needed.
Not only can vehicle tracking allow you to view instant reports on vehicles you may be tracking but also they allow historical data to be collected therefore giving the team crucial insight into the performance overall.
The world record attempt is said to be scheduled for sometime in November and Masternaut are said to have come by this as the owner of Healey uses Masternaut to track his fleet of vehicles he uses for his Good Food Chain where delivering to hundreds of customers every day is made easy by having vehicle tracking installed.
