According to the latest news reports ‘InTechnology’ have released a new phone named the Tornado BB3G.
It is to be launched into industries such as construction and emergency services, anywhere really that is an outdoor or noisy environment. The phone acts as its predecessor did, offering a walkie talkie device, so at a touch of a button the person can speak through his phone to his entire workforce or selected member. This system is ideal where workers have previously had a separate phone and radio as it combines the two together.
The new launch of this phone has seen it include an SOS button and GPS location tracking technology. It will enable the user of the phone to alert the operator of the system of any incident or emergency and will automatically send out their GPS location so they can be tracked immediately. This device will help the ever increasing organisations look after their remote workers and keep up to date with the evolving technology.
Another benefit to this tracking system is it allows the office based staff to communicate with the field workers via their computers and therefore cuts out the usage of phones.
However, by far the most important aspect of this innovative tracking and communication device is the security and constant communications it offers to Lone Workers and the safety aspect it provides them with, with the option of panic buttons. The worker can be located in seconds if anything was to happen.
