Keyfuels fuel cards are already accepted at over 1550 sites throughout the UK, but now that Keyfuels fuel cards are accepted in Tesco petrol stations it will add a further 475 extra forecourts to this list. This will make the Keyfuels fuel card very attractive to businesses who run fleets of vehicles.
One of the main issues fleet managers have with fuel cards are how widely they are accepted across the country. With Tescos being the biggest petrol retailer in the UK, this goes a long way to solving this problem.
Another big benefit for Keyfuels customers who fill up at Tescos is the opportunity to collect Tesco Clubcard points on their petrol or diesel. This will be of particular interest to smaller businesses.
The Keyfuels fuel card can also be used in Morrisons petrol stations and has been accepted in the Morrisons network since 2003.
Keyfuels is owned by Fleetcor which is a large fuel card business. They have a customer base of 30,000 who purchase around two billion litres of fuel from them a year. This is a big operation already, but with this latest deal it could really open up the market to them and increase the amount of fuel the deliver each year considerably.
