Isotrak are said to be helping Debenhams improve their efficiency by installing their Active Transport Management System into their HGV’s and help the functionality of these vehicles throughout their UK delivery fleet.
The roll out of this tracking system is said to be complete and that Debenhams are already seeing savings and cutting their carbon emissions and have helped to provide an excellent delivery service throughout their peak period of December.
The tender was competitive and Debenhams chose Isotrak after a quote request towards the latter part of 2008.
Debenhams commented that Isotrak’s Active Transport Management System is now settled in and doing the job it is meant to do and payback of this installation of systems will be within 2 years. The system will not only help the company reduce their carbon footprint but reduce mileage and improve on fuel consumption thus saving money.
Debenhams Request For Quotation was said to include pacific requirements such as alerts and driver and vehicle performance reporting. They wanted to reduce their operating costs by making use of their vehicles more efficiently and reduce their wear and tear on vehicles and fuel costs by making sure their drivers were and are driving in an efficient manner.
Isotrak have been said to meet all the needs of Debenhams not only with their product but their e experience with companies such as Asda, Marks & Spencer and many more.
The ATMS has four modules which are made up of Vehicle Tracking, Resource Management, Driver Style Management and Route Planning & Scheduling. Isotrak were able to show alongside this the return of investment that Debenhams would receive.
