All tracking systems are different and have many benefits and features. Some may work internationally; some may just focus on the UK. The points below may help when compiling a list of wants and needs that are required for the system you are looking for:
• Does the system offer international coverage? Do you in fact need international coverage?
• Are there any areas that the system doesn’t work, i.e black spot areas where the tracking is lost.
• If the vehicle the system is fitted into does have international ability, are there additional costs to track abroad?, are the location updates stored as they would be in the UK? Etc.
• Research all systems and costs, ask for testimonials and company literature.
• Check the contract rental agreements and see hjow easily it is to update if new technology is releasaed, what are the upgrade costs?
• Don’t pay for extra features if you don’t need them, if you only want reporting, only pay for that.
• There could be upfront costs that are not advertised and or monthly costs that are not made clear so investigate all charges and potentially get a written quotation.
