In a recent article written, Dartmoor coaches that are based in Devon have rolled out the tracking system they use by Digicore to a further twenty-one vehicle.
Dartline were said to have originally fitted around ten vehicles with Digicores product towards the end of 2008 and was so impressed with the visibility and management capabilities it offered them they decided to install further units.
Having vehicle tracking systems installed has meant that Dartline can monitor things such as speeds, harsh braking and overall that the vehicles they are putting out are being driven to an acceptable standard. All of this helps to ensure that the fleet is efficient, customer satisfaction is increased and the overall effect on the environment is addressed.
Dartline is a company who benefit perfectly from having such a system fitted. With their fleet offering local to international coverage and dealing with a wide range of public and private sectors tracking has offered them the ability to see their vehicles in real time and give accurate arrival and departure times.
In addition to this, the system allows the managers to access historical data so should any dispute arise then they can be quickly and efficiently investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
