Cybit’s Duty Of Care

In June 2009 Cybit News told us about a new product called Speedsafe which they had launched. This is an individual reporting tool which helps with road speed management alongside their Fleetstar-Online duty of care product.

This product can assist managers in enforcing Road Safety which is key to Health and Safety. This has been just one addition to a continuing release of products for their expert system Fleetstar-online.

Speedsafe produces reports on driver’s performance and can collate this over a period of a month, thus giving an overall picture of driver performance and the driver accrues points for severe infractions based around speeding.

The management can use this information in any way they please, select individual day performance, overall monthly performance etc Work related risk safety is high in the agenda for all companies since new laws have been introduced and it remains the employers responsibility to look after their employees and give them the opportunity to view their driving behaviours and offer training in areas where they are not succeeding.

Speedsafe makes up part of Cybits Duty of Care module and is of great benefit to all companies, creating a valuable addition to their Fleetstar-online package.
