Cybit Launch Fleetstar Online In Fowler Welch Vehicles

In a recent article, it was reported that Cybit have won the contract for a major UK distributor of fresh, chilled and ambient consumer products, Fowler Welch.

Cybit, who are one of the leading providers of telematics and vehicle tracking are said to be installing their Fleetstar online product throughout the fleet over a five year contract term.

It is said that Cybit’s system will integrate with Fowler Welch’s own transport management system and will enable journey and consignment data to be monitored against plans for the delivery so they can optimise their award winning customer service and performance.

The tracking system will provide a live reporting screen and highlight vehicles in respect to their delivery windows and planned jobs. Having the tools to quickly react to any situations which could arise will be advantageous to Fowler Welch.

This system offers so much more than tracking though. It will alert Fowler Welch if any of their trailer temperatures rise or fall past the thresholds set which is extremely important for compliance purposes.

Both companies are said to be extremely happy with this contract, both being masters in their fields. Telematics is increasing being used in all industries and is a critical tool to have to help reduce costs, drive down fuel consumption, increase productivity and help certain companies become compliant to regulations set.
