Cut Back On Expense With Vehicle Tracking

Tracking systems are a must now for all commercial companies and they are cutting back expenses in all areas.

Tracking systems increase the productivity of a company, save money and make their customers a lot happier as customer service is improved.
Although there are initial costs to get a system in place, the return seen from a tracking system soon outweighs what’s spent and crucially keeps saving money and improving the business.

One area which isn’t often discussed is phone usage. With the fleet manager being able to see the fleet at all times and make decisions based on this, phone calls are cut down massively. Route planning and knowledge of areas of congestion avoid the driver having to call in to say he is stuck in traffic and of course vice versa, the fleet manager does not have to call the driver to know where he is as he will be able to see all his vehicles 24 hours a day.

Mileage can be cut with the fleet manager finding alternative shorter routes and shortcuts and speeding eliminated as drivers can be notified when they are caught and given warnings. Speeding causes increased fuel consumption and increased wear and tear on the vehicle.
