Many fleets across Europe are concerned that 2010 will see an increase in their fuel and insurance costs.
This is a major concern to fleets whose running costs are mainly made up by fuel and insurance and with these in the increase once again and business difficult as it is, fleets are worried about the impact it will have.
The Petrol Retailers Association are said you be warning of a 5p per litre rise in fuel by the end of March 2010 and this could potentially rise by a further 5p for the end of the year.
The Petrol Retailers Association has said that the increase is mainly down to VAT returning to 17.5%.
Insurers seem to also be increasing their costs as their own increases and customers are going to see renewals rise. In 2009 they reportedly rose by around 7%.
