Masternaut is celebrating the outstanding achievements of a number of its vehicle-tracking customers in the 25th Motor Transport Awards. United Biscuits Logistics, ByBox Field Support, Indesit Company and TNT Express Services UK & Ireland all won top awards, presented at the black tie “Oscars” style event held at Grosvenor House – AJW Marriott Hotel in Park Lane, London, on Wednesday 6th July 2011.
The Keystone Fuels sponsored Low Carbon & Efficiency Award went to United Biscuits Logistics. The Jaffa Cake and Hula Hoop manufacturer has proven the effectiveness of Masternaut in driving down fuel consumption and cutting emissions by using the system to improve vehicle utilisation. United Biscuits has a history of scooping Motor Transport Awards over the years.
ByBox Field Support won the Bridgestone sponsored Best Use of Technology award. The company is not only a Masternaut customer; it also supplies in-night delivery services to its installation-engineering department. The Hankook Tyre sponsored Fleet Engineer award went to Paul Pinfold of Indesit Company. Indesit uses Masternaut as part of its innovative multi-drop delivery solution. This year’s win adds to previous Motor Transport awards won by Indesit.
The Training Award, sponsored by CRH Transport Training, went to TNT Express Services UK & Ireland. The company uses Masternaut to boost customer service levels for its Special Services department by monitoring its entire fleet live on screen. TNT’s Special Services vehicles carry time-critical packages, including donor organs and vital blood supplies for National Blood Service and the NHS.
